I started Allegra Interiors just 4 months after becoming a mother.

My husband and I purchased our first home after getting married and it was through the renovations that I found a passion for re-structuring homes to function better. I transferred credits from Aims Community College to RMCAD (Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design) and went on to earn my honors degree in Sustainable Interior Design. I wound up completing it in three years instead of the standard four (while also working full time).

When I looked around at the design/architecture/construction industry, I noticed something missing. Full-service design is beautiful and necessary for many but completely out of reach for a lot of young families just starting out. I know, because I was one of them.

With seven years of design under my belt, I've built a career designing homes for people creating their own version of new beginnings - young couples, growing families, first-time homeowners - all figuring it out, one room at a time. I started Allegra Interiors to serve people I understood: people who deserved beautiful, livable design without the traditional price tag or timeline

I opened this business just one month after I walked across that stage, and I haven't slowed down since.

I remember thinking: if I'm going to pour myself into another new thing, it has to actually serve people - not just look good in photos. So that's what this became. Not design for design's sake, but homes that hold space for real life. These homes are designed for gathering around the table, for slowing down at the end of a long day, for all the small moments that make a house feel like home.

When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me right in the middle of my own version of real life - with my husband and our two little ones. Learning as I go, just like you.
